Summer Style Trend: Two Piece Summer Sets
If there is one summer style trend that I am totally here for right now, it is the two piece set. The versatility is one of the best attributes to the sets, right up there with the ability to have the look of a romper without the tricky undressing issue- amirite ladies?!
This stunning blue striped set is perfect for wearing together or breaking up. The linen blend is the perfect weight for summer. I love the cool blue paired with a slight tan and stark white. I am wearing an XXS in the top, and an XS in bottoms. I would want an XXS in the bottoms, making the sizing on this set true to size. I added a white studio tee (my favorite of their basic tops) with the shorts, and then their white skinny jeans (on sale for $25) with the top! Three looks in one- a great set for traveling!
Summer Style Trend: Subtle Tropical Florals
As I was walking up to the store, I saw this floral print on a top from the display window. It is not normally a print I would gravitate towards- I am pretty basic, all things told- but I had to have it. I tried it on in the skirt and tie-front top.
I styled the skirt three ways- one was super casual with my favorite top- the graphic tee (size XS), then with a $12 knotted tank (size XS, wanted XXS), and lastly with a chambray top (size XXS). I am wearing XS in the skirt, but need XXS for the best fit. This linen-blend skirt is just so fun for work or play, and will carry itself into fall with the chambray top pairing.
This reminds me of a fun tropical print sans kitsch. Such a subtle take on the tropical print! Note: the skirt features some lilac tones, whereas the top features a bubblegum pink as part of the floral.
Summer Style Trend: Eyelet Tops
Eyelet detail is everywhere this summer. We each have various pieces from different brands, but these two tops are stealing the title for Best of the Summer Eyelet Tops for sure.
The lilac top is as easy to wear as a basic tee, but with a sweet and simple eyelet peplum detail. I was definitely sold on this top. I am wearing XS in the lilac, but would prefer my normal XXS.
Summer Style Trend: Embroidered Detail
We are seeing the embroidered detail all over- from tops to dresses to denim! It is the definition of a summer style trend. This tie-neck top is such a great quality piece featuring embroidery with the most on-trend colors. This top also comes in white and yellow. I am wearing an XXS, which is my normal size. The same style also comes in a dress version and is simply precious.
Simple and Simply Cute Dresses
Don’t quit your day job…
so you can wear these simple yet stunning dresses!
This lilac tone has me weak in the knees, and the a-line skirt with button high-neck collar is just the perfect silhouette. I am wearing 00. This dress has working buttons, and is very nursing friendly!
This striped button-up number is one of our favorite dress styles of the spring and summer. The v-neck button detail is being seen everywhere, and this dress is up there as far as winning this category. I am wearing 0, but would need 00. This dress has working buttons, so it is nursing friendly!
Shimmer and Shine
These tie-neck peplum tanks offer the perfect combo of fun and flirty! With a teensy but of shimmer, and a subtle tassel detail you are getting such a unique piece for such an amazing price. Statement pieces like this are hard to come by, and I am not at all shocked that they were already in low stock. I loved both colors, and especially loved that the navy had a matching skirt! I would stick to my true size in this top- XXS as seen in the white (wearing XS in the navy).
